Marina Rossell
Born in Gornal (Region of Penedčs, near Barcelona), Catalan singer Marina Rossell has published more than 13 records since starting her professional career in 1976. She has collaborated with such diverse artists as Georges Moustaki, Montserrat Caballé and the Flamenco guitarist Tomatito. A legend in her home country, Rossell is dedicated to reviving the musical traditions of Catalunya that were supressed during the years of Franco's authoritarian rule in Spain.
